Complete each item on this list to ensure an easy checkout!

  1. It's not required, but it's always a good idea to back up your important data!
    • Copy files from your H: drive to a flash drive, burn to a CD, or upload to online storage before leaving for the summer.  If you are changing campuses, your files don't always make the move with you immediately!  If interested, try Dropbox  (2 GB free) for online storage.
    • Export your Bookmarks  (Firefox) or Favorites (IE), and then import them into your Delicious bookmarks (if you haven't already.)
  2. Submit your Technology Survey.
  3. Prepare the technology equipment in your classroom for the summer.  Label everything with name/room #.

    • *VERY IMPORTANT -- I DO NOT have ANY extra of the following: S- video cables, Elmo power cords, projector power cords, VGA cables (blue/black that screws in), video cables (yellow tips), or remote controls. Should any of these items come up missing at the start of school, Gina Morrison will be of no immediate help.

    • If you don't have a projector bag/box for your cables or you simply need more "containers," I can provide plastic baggies for storage - just ask!

TEACHER WORKSTATION

    • Disconnect all specialty cables (S-video, extra VGA, splitter, etc.) and secure them.
    • Lay monitor face down.
    • Leave workstation in room, unplugged from power source and network (at wall).
    • If your workstation is on a cart, leave everything else connected.
    • If it's NOT on a cart and cannot be placed on one for the summer, disconnect all cables and secure them.
    • (Cover all with a sheet preferably to minimize dust.)

STUDENT WORKSTATION(S)

    • Same as teacher stations - no need to lay monitors flat.
    • Secure mice/keyboards as well. THERE ARE NO EXTRAS!!!

DATA PROJECTOR/ELMO

    • PROJECTORS and ELMOS must be secured in locked storage (cabinet, media cart, etc.)  Please contact Mrs. McCaffrey if you need to store items in the library's secure media room.
    • Secure all cables and remote control in your projector's bag or another container/box.

TV/CART

    • Leave in room.

OVERHEAD PROJECTOR

    • Leave in room

     4.  Prepare your final grades.

    • Fill in last-minute holes for missing SM1, 4TH, and 5TH grades. You cannot get an accurate final (FIN) grade otherwise - Enter a Transfer Grade
    • Enter exam (EX2) grades as you would an assignment.
    • If a student is absent for ANY reason and doesn't make up an exam before the deadline, enter a grade of zero.
    • Print a Final Grades Report for each class.

FINAL GRADE REPORTS are due in the counselors’ office by Friday, June 3 at 3:00!
